PrideMov is a video-on-demand website that houses a huge archive of over 500 DVDs and over 2,500 scenes of hot gay porn selection, perfect for every preference and taste. It works similar to the movie-on-demand channels most of us cable whores already have but instead of AFI movie classics or the just-released romantic comedy or action film, you have a buffet of major and minor porn studio tittles available for view.

However, unlike pay-per-view sites where you purchase bundles of minutes that tick away as you pick and choose what scenes to enjoy, this site allows you to pay per month or 3 months at a time just like other premium movie sites. You also have the freedom to either stream or download your porn scene-by-scene or a whole movie at once, with no download restrictions. Be careful though, PrideMov boasts to almost 1000 GB of porn. So don't end up like me, having to delete Mom and Dad's 30th anniversary pictures to make room for Army Twinks #2.

The advantages and disadvantages to PrideMov are about 50/50. The navigation is made super-simple, allowing you to browse the archive by categories such as "Most Downloaded" or "Top Rated". You also have the choice to search by studio or genre so if you're as big and specific a porno buff as I am; you can watch a hairy daddy in army fatigues getting a big black dildo up his ass or you can see a bevy of twinks in leather chaps having a fivesome. The diversity is a bit overwhelming. It was refreshing to be able to see videos that I would have been tempted to rent and not just the typical online vid clips of lower-end amateur vids.

And the variety of flavors in each movie is a big selling point. If you're a size queen, rice queen, or just plain into queens, you'll no doubt find something to tickle your pickle. The box covers have the links to the videos, reminiscent of perusing the shelves at my local adult bookstore but without that slimy old guy grabbing his crotch and trying to steal glances at me through the racks of old porno mags (memories, cue Barbara). Once you've picked and clicked, you're brought to the intro page with all the film's info and the menu that allows your viewing choice. Pick between Windows Media Player and RealPlayer which is not always an option on other sites. The movies come up quickly and off you go.

The one big thing about PrideMov that made Mr. Happy turn into Mr. Floppy in mere minutes was the problem with streaming. If streaming is your chosen form of watching porn, be ready to wait for the whole scene/movie to upload. There was no skipping ahead or fast-forwarding so unless you have a T1 connection, you'll be wanking that limp noodle for a while. The download time wasn't horrible but some mpegs wouldn't allow for skipping ahead of FFing either, a clear indication that you might just have a bumpy ride ahead of you, I’m prone to blame the player rather then the site, but one never knows.

A disappointment was attempting to run a search by actor, a basic function of similar sites. I stumbled upon a video starring one of my fave porn pups, Jason Ridge. After checking out the flick, I immediately (and by that, I mean ten sweaty minutes later) attempted to perform an actor search to find more of Mr. Ridge's films but to no avail. Thinking I had misspelled his name, typical of one-handed typing, I tried again and nothing. I tried one more time using another featured actor in the same movie and all I got was a blank screen. Mr. Happy was very sad.

Other then some navigation challenges PrideMov , has a very big selection to choose from, with faces (and cocks) both old and new. Play around with the site and you'll no doubt find something that wets your appetite but consider the experience akin to cooking with a crock pot instead of a microwave. It'll take a little longer to get the tasty results.
