Since the beginning of gay time, a man in uniform has been a sight to behold. There’s just something about the formality, the rigidness, of a man all buttoned-up or in fatigues that is irresistible. Just look to any Tom of Finland cartoon. Military men are especially fawned upon. You know that even George Washington must have had his male admirers as he crossed the Delaware. Without his uniform he was just another wig-wearing queen with wooden teeth, but with it – Whoa, Martha! (okay, back to the review)

An army uniform exudes masculinity because that’s what we associate; the fight, the testosterone. Getting the man out of the uniform is always the fun part.

Nakedsoldier.com is a site that relies on the gay man’s penchant for men in uniform to reign in the throngs. There are numerous galleries on this site to keep the boys interested as long as said boys are not looking for the beefed up musclemen of porn. The guys here are ordinary-looking everyday Joe thing going on. It wouldn’t surprise me if some of them weren’t actually in the army just as the site promises, looking to make some extra cash. These guys are not gussied up in any way, shape, or form. It’s as if a camera or camcorder was placed in a (at times) poorly lit room and the guys were told to go at it. Some guys are turned on by this amateur style of porn, and this might be a good site for those fellas to visit.

The site can be a little confusing at the start. You have to scroll down to get to the actual galleries of men. First, there are a few rows of links, advertising for what look to be more established porn sites. The XXX picture galleries are many, but like I said, they tend to be somewhat grainy. Soldiery, aren’t the only men featured either. There’s a large assortment of twinks and, oddly enough, trannys. The XXX video galleries are low-res and it’s evident that many of the pictures in the photo galleries are taken from the videos. The problem I found with the videos was the inability to get any of them to play. They’d all say they were buffered and ready to go, but then…anti-climax.

The live feeds link and bonus pages are nothing more than links to yet more sites that have nothing to do with hot men in uniforms. And the promised extras lead you to Outpersonals.com and an online sex shop. It’s somewhat of a letdown when what you really want to see is soldier on soldier action.
